Kirill Poluektovich Naryshkin (Russian: Кирилл Полуэктович Нарышкин) (1623 – April 30, 1691) was the maternal grandfather of Peter the Great.
It became allied to the ruling house in 1671 when the great beauty Natalya Naryshkina (daughter of Kirill Poluektovich Naryshkin) married Alexis of Russia, later becoming the mother of Peter the Great.

Natalya Kirillovna Naryshkina ( Russian: Ната́лья Кири́лловна Нары́шкина; 1 September 1651 – 4 February 1694) was the Tsaritsa of Russia from 1671–1676 as the second spouse of Tsar Alexis I of Russia, and regent of Russia as the mother of Tsar Peter I of Russia (Peter the Great) in 1682.
Lew Kirillowitsch Naryschkin war der Sohn des Beamten im auswärtigen Dienst Kirill Poluektowitsch Naryschkin (1623–1691) und dessen Gemahlin Anna Leontjewna Leontiew († 1706). Die Naryschkin gehen der Überlieferung nach auf eine Moskauer Bojarenfamilie krimtatarischer Abstammung zurück.

Born on 27 January 1708 in Moscow, Russia, Anna Petrovna was the fourth child of the future Catherine I of Russia and Peter the Great. Although Anna was the fourth child and second daughter born to the couple, none of her older siblings survived infancy. In 1709, Anna was joined by a sister, Elizabeth, who eventually became Empress of Russia.
