Luca Carlevarijs oder Carlevaris (* 20. Januar 1663 in Udine; † 12. Februar 1730 in Venedig) war ein Italienischer Maler und Radierer, der auch bekannt war als Luca da Ca' Zenobio [1] oder Luca Casanobrio. Er gilt als der Pionier der Vedutenmalerei in Venedig und beeinflusste spätere Maler wie Canaletto, Bellotto, Marieschi und Francesco Guardi.
Luca Carlevarijs or Carlevaris (20 January 1663 – 12 February 1730) was an Italian painter and engraver working mainly in Venice. He pioneered the genre of the cityscapes ( vedute ) of Venice, a genre that was later widely followed by artists such as Canaletto and Francesco Guardi .

Scholars considered him the first artist to have consciously emphasized the importance and grandeur of Venice by depicting it as a center of international activity.
