Marcelo Uchoa Zarvos is a Brazilian pianist and composer. Early life. Zarvos was born in São Paulo. He began in classical music in his teens and studied at the Berklee College of Music. He later attended the California Institute of the Arts, and graduated with a BFA in Music in 1992. [1] Career.
A classically trained pianist and composer, Zarvos earned his BFA from Cal Arts. He burst onto the film landscape in the early 2000s with his score for KISSING JESSICA STEIN and with the film adaptation of the John Irving novel, THE DOOR IN THE FLOOR.
