Max Roser (born 1983) is an economist and philosopher who focuses on large global problems such as poverty, disease, hunger, climate change, war, existential risks, and inequality. At the University of Oxford he is the director of the program on global development, based at the Oxford Martin School.
I am the editor and director of Our World in Data and the Co-executive Director of Global Change Data Lab, the non-profit organization that publishes Our World in Data. In addition to Our World in Data, my team and I have also built the SDG-Tracker and the Chartbook of Economic Inequality.
