Nato a Roma nel 1953, comincia a suonare la chitarra a 12 anni dedicandosi subito al rock-blues elettrico, ascoltando Delta Blues e Electric Rock-Blues. Dal 1970 al 1972 suona nel gruppo jazz-rock romano “Blue Morning” con Maurizio Giammarco al sax tenore.
