Tahar Rahim (* 4. Juli 1981 in Belfort) ist ein französischer Theater- und Filmschauspieler. Bekanntheit erlangte er durch seine erste Hauptrolle in dem Spielfilm Ein Prophet (2009).
Tahar Rahim (born 4 July 1981) is a French actor. His breakthrough performance was in the 2009 French film A Prophet, for which he won the César Award for Best Actor and Most Promising Actor. He then starred as FBI agent Ali Soufan in the miniseries The Looming Tower and Judas in the film Mary Magdalene (both 2018).

The eight-part limited series is a co-production between BBC One and Netflix. It is based on the crimes of French serial killer Charles "the Serpent" Sobhraj, who murdered young tourists from 1975 to 1976. The series stars Tahar Rahim in the lead role as Sobhraj.
Biografie. Tahar Rahim, geboren am 4. Juli 1981 in Belfort, Frankreich, als Sohn algerischer Einwanderer, nahm zunächst ein Studium in den Fächern Sport und Informatik in Straßburg und Marseille auf. Nach zwei Jahren brach er dieses jedoch ab und studierte Film in Montpellier.
