Gordonstoun ist eine internationale schottische Privatschule. Sie befindet sich nördlich von Elgin an dem Moray Firth. Gordonstoun hat als Schule eine ganz klare Identität und lebt diese auch. Hier geht es darum, Kinder zu neuen Herausforderungen anzuspornen - in und außerhalb des Klassenzimmers. Wir kennen keine Schule, die sein Credo so bewusst und konsistent umsetzt wie Gordonstoun!
Sportlich ausgerichtete Schule mit einem sehr großen Spektrum an Outdoor-Aktivitäten. Sie reichen u.a. von Klettern und Kajakfahren über Segeln, Rugby und Hockey bis hin zu Cricket. Die Fachabteilung Tanz ist sehr aktiv und verfügt über ein eigenes großes Tanzstudio; Gordonstoun ist als so genannte Green School anerkannt
An der Gordonstoun School leben die Internatsschülerinnen und -schüler in einer ausgewogenen und international dynamischen Wohngemeinschaft, die aus ingesamt 9 Häusern besteht, eines davon das berühmte Round-Square-Gebäude.
Gordonstoun School is a co-educational independent school for boarding and day pupils in Moray, Scotland. It is named after the 150-acre (60-hectare) estate owned by Sir Robert Gordon in the 17th century; the school now uses this estate as its campus.
