Online archive. Proceedings of the Royal Society is the main research journal of the Royal Society. The journal began in 1831 and was split into two series in 1905: [1] Series A: for papers in physical sciences and mathematics. Series B: for papers in life sciences.
Die Proceedings of the Royal Society of London ist eine monatlich erscheinende wissenschaftliche Zeitschrift der Royal Society mit Peer-Review. Viele deutsche Naturwissenschaftler nutzen ab 1800 diese Zeitschrift für Publikationen, da vergleichbare Zeitschriften in Deutschland erst ungefähr 70 Jahre später erschienen.
The first set was issued in February 1831 (covering meetings from the previous November and December), and was known as the ‘Proceedings of the Royal Society’. The ‘Proceedings’ would appear roughly monthly, though only during the period of each year when the Society actually had meetings.
Proceedings A and B are the Royal Society's journals for physical and biological sciences, respectively. They publish high-quality research and review articles, and are Plan S compliant Transformative Journals.
