Rachel Anne McAdams (* 17. November 1978 in London, Ontario) ist eine kanadische Schauspielerin.
2009 übernahm sie die Rolle der Irene Adler in dem Film Sherlock Holmes.
Ihre ersten Rollen hatte sie in Fernsehfilmen und -serien wie Shotgun Love Dolls und Mission Erde: Sie sind unter uns. Im Jahr 2002 hatte sie in der italienisch-kanadischen Koproduktion My Name Is Tanino ihr Debüt auf der Kinoleinwand. Für ihre nächste Rolle im Kleinstadtdrama Perfect Pie wurde sie für einen Genie Award als beste Newcomerin nominiert und machte so Hollywood auf sich aufmerksam.
Ihre nächsten Filme, die Komödien Hot Chick – Verrückte Hühner (2002) und Girls Club – Vorsicht bissig! (2004), steigerten ihre Bekanntheit weiter.
