Die sogenannte Trap-door Fraktur stellt eine Notfallindikation zur sofortigen Revision der Fraktur dar. Hierbei kommt es zu einer Inkarzeration von äußeren Augenmuskeln in die Fraktur.

Jan. 2024 · Neben der Versorgung der allgemein gut zugänglichen Weichteilverletzungen zielt die Erstversorgung bei Mittelgesichtstraumata hauptsächlich auf das Management von posttraumatischen Komplikationen ab. Auch traumabedingt stark gelockerte aspirationsgefährdete Zähne oder Zahnfragmente sollten hierbei umgehend entfernt werden.
