Eddie the Eagle is a 2015 biographical sports comedy-drama film directed by Dexter Fletcher. The film stars Taron Egerton as Michael Edwards, a British skier who in 1988 became the first competitor to represent Great Britain in Olympic ski jumping since 1928. Eddie is Patron of the charity Ski 4 Cancer and spends much of his time helping them wherever he can. He returned to ski jumping in 2015 to raise funds for Ski 4 Cancer at the age of 52! Film.
