Manuel I. ( portugiesisch Dom Manuel I ), genannt „Emanuel der Glückliche“ ( O Venturoso, * 31. Mai 1469 in Alcochete; † 13. Dezember 1521 in Lissabon ), gilt als einer der bedeutendsten Könige Portugals. Er stammte aus dem Hause Avis und regierte von 1495 bis 1521.
