25. März 2023 · 25. März 2023. Mein Besuch auf dem Londoner Highgate Cemetery (Ost) liegt nun schon drei Monate zurück. Es war Samstag, der 24. Dezember, aber es fühlte sich nur wenig weihnachtlich-festlich an. Es war ein schöner Wintertag, an dem fahles Sonnenlicht durch die kahlen Baumwipfel fiel und eine dem Ort angemessene melancholische Atmosphäre erzeugte.
