24. Juni 2024 · This doesn’t happen every time. However, it gets worse over time. Whenever I drive over 45mph it stops and happens again at slower speeds. The check engine light came on and gives a P0556 code. I brought it in to the dealership and the switch out the brake booster, booster sensor, vacuum pump and solenoids. The check engine light disappeared ...
11. Nov. 2012 · How-to: Fix codes P0010, P0011, P0013 or P0014 on the 2.4L ecotec engine: Remove the engine cover. Find the two small cylinders just to the left of the #1 spark plug. They are called the intake & exhaust camshaft position (CMP) actuator solenoids. I recommend that you replace them both.

Edit: I have finally fixed my issue with the check engine light code p305f and it cost a total of $53 I bought it from eBay it even came with a 1 year replacement warranty from square trade for an extra 6 bucks, it was quite easy to replace and only needed a few sockets and a flat head screw driver to complete.
11. Okt. 2024 · My daughter has a 2014 Chevy Malibu with the 2.5 L Eco Tech. The TCM is having a loss of can communication intermittently. Does anyone by chance have the location for the TCM for this vehicle? I’ve looked it up in several places and I’m seeing several different answers. Upon getting into car & putting the key in the ignition the "theft system" light comes on & flashes...then the car wont start. The light will go out after 10 minutes or so & car will then start. My mechanic thinks it may be related to the ignition switch as you can also remove ...
5. Feb. 2021 · Tuners/performance mods. I recently got a chevy malibu (2018 LT) with my friend to compete with 2 of my other friends to see who could make the fastest newer family car. 25. Apr. 2024 · The reason for this is the labor to pull the camshaft cover, replace the camshaft, dig out the pieces is high. If they miss a piece it floats around it can wedge somewhere causing timing issues and pcv issues. The cost for the repair is in the thousands and set by individual dealers - ranges I have read are between $2000-3500.
24. Jan. 2009 · Look at the GM part number on the back of the fob, most of the listings will either work with that number or by application. For gen 7 Malibu it's with or without remote start. The TPMS sensor issue, just because it says RF -- doesn't mean it's really the RF tire. It would need to be checked to see which tire won't learn, then you can replace ...
26. Feb. 2024 · I got this code on my Malibu 2016 Limited a month ago. I replaced the aux battery from sams club. The code has not come back since then. The old aux battery was original, lasted for 8 years, 111K miles. It failed the load test (only ~106A of required 155A). I hope that is the cause. The auto stop/start worked the first couple of days after the ...

The causes of P1101 have been dirty throttle body, loose connection at the throttle body, clogged PCV orifice in the camshaft cover, and a couple times airbox or inlet and outlet pipe not sealed properly. Even tough it is a MAF code I think only once was it the MAF. I believe a user just recently ...
