Juni 2011 · In addition to the Academy, the Dominican Sisters founded and implemented plans to establish the College of Saint Mary of the Springs, the predecessor to Ohio Dominican University, in 1911. The College of Saint Mary of the Springs formally opened in 1924, as a Catholic women’s college in Columbus, Ohio. In 1964, the College allowed men to enroll.
Mt. Carmel Hospitals – Columbus (Mt. Carmel – East; Mt. Carmel – West; St. Ann, Westerville). Mt. Carmel opened in 1886, by the Sisters of the Holy Cross from St. Mary's, Indiana. In 1972, Mt. Carmel East opened to serve the suburbs. Also, St. Ann's Hospital was bought by Mt. Carmel in 1995.

7. Feb. 2023 · By The Catholic Times. Feb 7, 2023 Local. Bishop Earl Fernandes cuts the ribbon to officially mark the opening of the Nationwide Children's Hospital School Based Health Center in the Burkley Center at Columbus St. Mary, Mother of God Church in the German Village area.

Feb. 2024 · The school, which has approximately 400 students enrolled from pre-K through eighth grade who come from 30 zip codes in central Ohio, is located next to historic St. Mary, Mother of God Church, which was renovated in 2019 after a lightning strike damaged the structure in 2016. With 40,000 total square feet now available in the school, St. Mary will be able to accommodate upward of 500 students ...
