Our staff regularly make trips abroad to attend education exhibitions and to hold a range of events for prospective applicants as well as pre-departure briefings for offer-holders.
International students can receive information from the Student Immigration Service’s trained Immigration Advisers, who are available to assist with visa advice, from the initial stage of applying to study in the UK, through to graduation. They can also help with advice on bringing your family to Edinburgh or working during or after your studies.
We work with a network of agents that can guide you through the application process and advise on immigration matters.
Clubs and societies
You’ll find more than 320 societies catering for a multitude of interests at the University. Among these are a number of international and multicultural societies, which not only offer support in settling in to a new environment but can also help you to locate students from your home country. International student societies
The School of Engineering welcomes applications to study an undergraduate degree from all international students through UCAS. The School also has specific admissions programmes for certain undergraduate international students; these are our 2+2 Programme and the Ambright Chinese Elite Programme.
