The main points of entry to Highgate are at 4+, 7+, 11+ and 16+. We are sometimes, but not often, able to offer an occasional place in another year group necessitated usually by family re-locations. Please note that we do not offer occasional places in Years 2, 6, 11, 12 or 13.
All registered applicants will be asked to attend interviews in person at the school. The Interview Day for 2025 entry is on Saturday 9 November 2024.. You will have interviews in each of the subjects nominated for Sixth Form study, plus a general interview with a senior member of staff, there is no written assessment.
Highgate School is situated in Highgate, an established eastern suburb of the city of Adelaide, South Australia, approximately 6km from the city centre. The school was opened on 23rd July 1923, celebrating its centenary last year. In 2024, we have approx. 600 students across Reception – Year 6.
