Angela's looking a bit uptight on the cover, but the set's got a wonderfully smooth feel overall -- thanks to production from George Duke! Duke brings a nice sense of warmth to the record -- one that's greatly appreciated at this point in Bofill's career, and which helps her hang onto the more jazz-inflected sounds she first brought to wax at the end of the 70s.
