Fehime Sultan Yalı. The Bosphorus Suburbs, Istanbul, Turkey, Europe. The Bosphorus Suburbs. Once home to a daughter of Sultan Murat V, this huge yalı was built in the 1880s and extensively damaged by fire in 2003. At the time of writing it was undergoing an extensive restoration designed by British firm David Chipperfield Architects.
Naime and her cousin, Fehime Sultan, daughter of Sultan Murad V were active members of the organization. [30] In March 1924, all the members of the Ottoman dynasty were expelled from Turkey; according to her son-in-law, Naime Sultan and Celâleddîn Paşa first went to Albania (Celâleddîn Paşa’s homeland), and then settled in France, where he caught tuberculosis.

Fehime Sultan, amcası Sultan Hamid’in kendisine ihsan ettiği Ortaköy’de, şimdi Boğaz Köprüsü’nün ayakları altına yakın yerde hâlen mevcut bulunan sarayında otururdu. Ortaköy’den itibaren sırasıyla Esma, Fehime, Hadice, Fatma, Naîme ve Zekiye Sultan yalıları Arnavutköyü’ne doğru sıralanırdı. Hepsine sürgünden sonra el konuldu.
