13. März 2022 · Eric Clapton’s entry reads: "With his induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame as a solo artist on 6 March 2000, he became the first musician to have been inducted three times. He was first honoured as a member of The Yardbirds in 1992, then with Cream in 1993, and finally as a solo artist in 2000.
Eric Clapton’s 1963 Fender Telecaster. Get it on. This was Eric’s main recording and gigging guitar during the Yardbirds era. The guitar allegedly belonged to the Yardbirds management. After Eric left the band, Jeff Beck who took over his role played the same guitar for some time prior to acquiring a Fender Esquire of his own.

5. Okt. 2023 · This month marks the 60th anniversary of Eric Clapton joining the Yardbirds, a pivotal moment in rock history. As documented in Six-String Stories, Clapton was invited to join the band early in October 1963, but it wasn't until he watched them at the CrawDaddy Club in Richmond-upon-Thames on the 13th of October that he formally accepted the offer.
