Thomas Henry Ismay (* 7. Januar 1837 in Ropery House, Ellenborough, Maryport , Cumberland; † 23. November 1899 in Dawpool bei Birkenhead) war ein britischer Reeder .
Thomas Henry Ismay (7 January 1837 – 23 November 1899) was a one time owner the White Star Line. His son Joseph Bruce Ismay was managing director of the White Star Line and survived the maiden voyage of its ocean liner RMS Titanic in 1912.
Ende November 1899 verstarb der Firmengründer Thomas Ismay, und sein Sohn Bruce Ismay übernahm die Geschicke der White Star Line. Unter Bruce Ismay änderte sich die Firmenpolitik drastisch: Von nun an sollten Größe und Komfort verstärkt im Vordergrund stehen und nicht mehr Geschwindigkeit.

Mr Thomas Henry Ismay. Thomas Henry Ismay was born on 7 January 1837 at Ropery House, Ellenborough, Maryport, Cumberland, the eldest son of shipbuilder Joseph Ismay. At the age of 16 he took up an apprenticeship with Liverpoool shipbrokers Imrie & Tomlinson.
