Marc Gordon has worked with Hal Davis extensively as a production and songwriting duo. He married the Fifth Dimension's Florence LaRue in 1969 and they had one child together before later divorcing. Gordon discovered the Fifth Dimension, then called The Versatiles, when they auditioned for him while he was working at Motown 's Los Angeles office in 1966.
Marc Gordon relocated to Los Angeles and continued producing and writing, with a variety of successful recording artists such as IMX, Marques Houston and Musiq Soul- Child. Sean Levert also pursued a solo career and often performed with both his father and brother.
