Geraldine Margaret Agnew-Somerville (born 19 May 1967) is an Irish-British actress. She is known for her roles in the film Gosford Park (2001) and the Harry Potter film series (2001–2011). Her other roles have included Daphne (2007), My Week with Marilyn (2011) and Grace of Monaco (2014).
Geraldine has starred in a wide variety of television dramas, her breakout role being, "'Panhandle' Penhaligon", alongside Robbie Coltrane , in the ground-breaking, award-winning drama series, Cracker (1993) (1993-1995), by Jimmy McGovern, a much-imitated series still shown around the world.
Geraldine's acting career began in 1989, immediately after graduating from the Guildhall. She was cast as "Laura" opposite Linus Roache in "The Glass Menagerie", at The Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester, for which she was nominated for a Best Actress award by the Manchester Evening News.
