Oberlin Conservatory’s 42 areas of private, applied study are organized by 11 divisions: Conducting and Ensembles; Contemporary Music; Historical Performance; Jazz Studies; Keyboard Studies; Music Theory; Musicology; Pedagogy, Advocacy, and Community Engagement (PACE); Strings; Vocal Studies; and Winds, Brass, and Percussion.
