"Pauly Shore is dead" ist ein merkwürdiger Film. Vollkommen von Pauly Shore finanziert - und es ist erstaunlich, wie viele Gefallen Shore bei Prominenten einfordern konnte, damit diese in Cameos auftreten - ist der Film eine quasi autobiographische Parodie aufs eigene Leben des Filmemachers. Klar hatte ich die Erwartung das "Wiesel" wieder zu sehen und natürlich auch die ty-yp-ische Ah-au-s-sprache (wer Pauly Shore Filme kennt weiß was ich meine) in total kaputten Satzbildungen.

Den Film "Pauly Shore is Dead" kann man in der Tat nur genießen oder richtig Spaß dran haben, wenn man die Filme von Shore kennt und mag. Alle anderen dürfen sich gerne mal mit diesem Film an die Komik herantasten oder lieber gleich die Finger davon lassen.
