About Liane Foly. French jazz singer Liane Foly got her start as a child, singing with her parents' orchestra. Discovered in 1984, it wasn't until 1987 that Foly's career got a boost when she impressed Virgin France's Fabrice Hataf. A year later her debut album, The Man I Love, was issued and scored success out of the box.
