Abraham Lincoln II was born to Robert Todd and Mary Harlan Lincoln on August 14, 1873. The baby, called Jack by family and friends, was the Lincolns’ second child and only son. The proud parents sent this photograph to grandmother Mary Todd Lincoln. It is inscribed on the back, “Mr. Lincoln aged 3 months on Nov. 14, 1873.”.
