7. Dez. 2018 · 1919 (28th June) Treaty of Versailles. A delegation of representatives from the new Weimar government signed the Treaty of Versailles. The treaty imposed harsh sanctions on Germany including a drastic reduction of military forces, the removal of land and overseas territories and the payment of reparations to the value of £6.6 billion.
September 1932. The Reich government enacts two emergency decrees with the aim of strengthening the economy.
