David McKean (born 29 December 1963) is an English artist. His work incorporates drawing, painting, photography, collage , found objects , digital art , and sculpture. McKean has illustrated works by authors such as Neil Gaiman , Grant Morrison , Heston Blumenthal , Ray Bradbury and Stephen King .
Biography. Dave McKean was born in Taplow, Berkshire in 1963. He attended Berkshire College of Art and Design from 1982-86 and, before leaving, started working as an illustrator. the first Photoshop comics covers for the hugely influential Sandman series, and the first original online interactive narrative, Club Salsa ).
