Grey Highlands’ equity council and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour) are partnered to host a “Sunshine dance” which was free to all students and includes free desserts and flowers.

This was evident in Diefenbaker's response to the Cuban Missile Crisis, where he was slow to support the United States. However, Diefenbaker's Minister of Defence went behind Diefenbaker's back and did send Canada's military to high alert given Canada's legal treaty obligations, and in order to try and appease Kennedy.
