Mai 2024 · Awful Auntie begins with a larger than life aunt, poo and fart jokes aplenty and looking at the open mouthed faces of the children with us, we wondered what we had let ourselves in for! However, as the show progressed we realised that this loud, brash humour was needed to balance the dark and somewhat disturbing story.

This was the story of a girl named Stella whose Auntie has moved into her house with her owl, Wagner. It is the first (and currently only) of Walliams' books to not include Raj the newsagent, due to the book being set in the 1930s before Raj was born.
