„Possessor“ geizt nicht mit einer grandiosen und opulenten Bildsprache, angereichert mit blutigen und explizit gezeigten Kills. Was die Optik betrifft, steht der Sohn dem Vater in nichts nach. Auch die Thematik ist spannend und lässt die Synapsen ordentlich knacken. Streckenweise jedoch etwas zu viel, denn die Gefahr, sich in diesem verwirrenden Personenspiel zu verlieren, ist hoch.

Denn mit Possessor hat er eines der Highlights des diesjährigen Fantasy Filmfests und darüber hinaus abgeliefert. 2. Okt. 2020 · "Possessor" is an exception where critics (72 Metacritic Score) and users (7.6 Metacritic Score) agree that it's a pretty damn good flick. The acting is excellent. Andrea Riseborough from "Mandy" is creepy odd (again) as a mind-possessing assassin, and Christopher Abbott from "It Comes at Night" is a depressed AND possessed soul for the next assassination.
