this was another long box 2 cd set released about 20 years ago of some of the first grand slam demos recorded in late 1983/early 1984 that where shopped around to major labels, great stuff here, sadly by 1984/85 phil lynott was considered a liability by major labels so these demos where rejected by the majors and not heard by us real fans until 16 years after phils death, anyway great stuff ...

Lynott formed Grand Slam in 1984 with Magnum keyboardist Mark Stanway and although they never issued an official studio album, they played numerous shows around Europe and cut a series of demos before Lynott's passing in 1986!
