In 1989, the Florida State Legislature founded a flagship program in Tallahassee designed to prepare young filmmakers for successful careers in the entertainment industry. Decades later, the presence of the Florida State University Film School can be seen throughout the industry, producing award-winning alumni and acknowledged as “one of the world’s best” by The Hollywood Reporter.
A sequence of 10-15 images that explores your visual storytelling. These images can be drawings or photographs in the form of a storyboard. Creative writing sample composed of a narrative short story, poem, script, or play. Writing samples should be in standard 12pt. font, single-spaced, and not exceed 3 pages. The Wrap News revealed last week that FSU placed No. 13 in its list of the nation’s top 50 film schools. FSU was also ranked No. 13 by the publication last year.
