23. Sept. 2003 · “Bazooka Tooth” is the intro to Aesop Rock’s second album with Def Jux, Bazooka Tooth. The song, as well as many others on the album, is self produced by Aesop Rock.
Massive El-P fan here. He was a real NY asshole back in the day no doubt. I feel like Def Jux collapsing humbled him and allowed him to reset in a sense. But I think here we’re seeing the beginning of the El-P Aes Cold War or at least where it might’ve stemmed from.
