19. Juli 2013 · Follow dannyk8r and others on SoundCloud. This is the full album before it was "mixed" for release. It is raw. It is pure. The poetry of Chris' lyrics are more legible. The tones are what we were listening to in the studio. The actual release mystified people. It never represented the recording.
"Din of Ecstasy" (1995) features Chris Whitley on strat and vocals, Alan Gevaert (a Belgian) on bass, and Dougie Bowne on drums. Louie Lepore also plays guitar, and it is not clear when a track with a second guitar is Lepore or Whitley. The sound is obviously miles from "Living With the Law" (1991).
