Jim Stapley: das britische Classic Rock/Soul-Wunder mit seinem neuen Album Verfasst von Mike Langer am 10. April 2014. Schon als 17-Jähriger entscheidet sich JIM STAPLEY für den Rock´n´Roll-Traum. Er fährt lieber vom heimischen Manchester nach London um mit ein Jahrzehnt älteren Musikern zu proben, als regelmäßig die Schulbank zu drücken.
Ohne Zweifel hinterlässt Jim Stapley mit "Long Time Coming" einen nachhaltigen Eindruck. Vielleicht wäre hier oder da weniger etwas mehr gewesen sein. Der Künstler aus Manchester ist schon ein guter Musiker und die zwölf Eigenkompositionen sind in sich schlüssig. Ab und an hätte es ein etwas kleineres Format auch getan. "Long Time Coming" ist gut.
