Nemesis. Sleeping Murder was filmed by the BBC as a 100-minute film in the sixth adaptation (of twelve) in the BBC's Miss Marple TV series starring Joan Hickson as Miss Marple. In het totaal zou Miss Marple optreden in twaalf detectiveromans en twintig korte verhalen. Net als bij haar andere meesterdetective, Hercule Poirot, schreef Agatha Christie al vroeg een 'laatste boek' voor Miss Marple.
