Kenny was the bassist who, together with Chris Parker and G.E. Smith, comprised Bob Dylan's original "Never Ending Tour" band. He played the entire 1988 tour and six of the first seven 1989 shows. In 1989 he was forced to leave the tour after developing skin cancer. Aaronson was required to have an operation, which proved successful in defeating the disease.
