The Replacements. American rock band formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Their early music (Sorry Ma, Forgot To Take Out The Trash and Stink EP) was influenced by American hardcore (like their contemporaries Hüsker Dü) with later albums slowing down tempo. Bob Stinson left the band in 1986, and was later replaced by Slim Dunlap.
