Project Overview. When engineers designed the new Rich Street Bridge in Columbus, Ohio, they knew the structure had to do more than just offer cars and pedestrians a way across the river. The bridge was going to be a centerpiece for the city's thriving downtown riverfront, and a venue for festivals and community events.
