For some reason I always thought that Bread was a rock band. Instead, Anthology of Bread is filled with pop almost at its purest. Honestly said, a couple of tracks attempt to rock, but "Truckin'" is one of the most evident failures of this compilation; on the other hand, the band was often at its dullest in ballads – definitely including "Diary."
