Ronnie Carroll. Actor: Man in the Dark. Ronnie Carroll was born on 18 August 1934 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK. He was an actor, known for Man in the Dark (1964), Remember a Day (2000) and Eurovision Song Contest 1962 (1962).
Career. Carroll was born Ronald Cleghorn in 116 Roslyn Street, Belfast, Northern Ireland, in 1934, the son of a plumber. In January 1954, 19-year-old Ronnie Cleghorn was appearing in a variety show at the Town Hall, Portadown billed as Belfast's Nat King Cole and the show went on to play at several locations in Northern Ireland.
