4. Major Requirements (32 hours) A minimum grade of C is required in all major courses. Students planning a major in psychology are advised to take basic science credits in biology and chemistry or physics. This is especially important for those contemplating graduate work.
In pursuing this mission, the program emphasizes integration across multiple areas of experimental psychology to further psychological science. The program has strong ties to the University's Schools of Medicine, the Arnold School of Public Health, Darla Moore School of Business, the Statistics Department and the Linguistics Program.
