It was released on 25 March 2004, by the small Dutch label Transmission Records. It is After Forever's first full-length album since the dismissal of guitarist and composer Mark Jansen, whose musical tastes had strongly influenced the sound of their first work Prison of Desire (2000) and their successful second offering Decipher (2001).
After Forever was a Dutch symphonic metal band with strong progressive metal influences. The band relied on the use of both soprano vocals and death growls.

After Forever – holenderska grupa muzyczna wykonująca symfoniczny gotycki metal. Powstała 1995 roku w Holandii występując początkowo do 1999 roku pod nazwą Apocalypse . Zmiany w brzmieniu wykonywanej muzyki zapoczątkowała wokalistka Floor Jansen (w grupie od 1997 roku), za sprawą której zespół zyskał uznanie zwracając się w stronę atmospheric metalu o rdzeniu gothic.

After Forever behoeft in Nederland eigenlijk geen introductie. Vanaf hun debuutalbum Prison Of Desire is de populariteit van deze Limburgse band alleen maar toegenomen. Hun tweede album Decipher werd door onze lezers verkozen als Album Van Het Jaar 2001, en om het wachten op hun derde album voor de fans wat makkelijker te maken brachten ze de Exordium mini-cd uit.
