Grahambrot. Grahambrot (oder auch Grahambrötchen) ist ein nach dem amerikanischen Prediger Sylvester Graham (1794 – 1851) benanntes Brot aus fein geschrotetem, ungesiebtem Vollkornweizen. Ursprünglich wurde das Brot ohne Zugabe von Triebmitteln wie Hefe oder Sauerteig und ohne Salz nach Spontangärung in einer Kastenform gebacken.
Aufgrund des hohen Vollkornanteils gilt das Brot als gesundheitsfördernd. Es hat einen hohen Anteil an Eiweiß und enthält viele Mineralien und Ballaststoffe.
