Son olarak yalı 1901 yılında Sultan V. Murad’ın kızı Fehime Sultan’a hediye edilince de bu isimle anılmaya başlamış. 1926’dan sonra önce yetimhane, ardından tütün deposu olarak kullanılan yalı, devamında Gazi Osman Paşa Ortaokulu olarak hizmet vermiş. Yalı maalesef 2002 yılında yanarak ağır hasar görmüş.
Fatma Sultan was born on 19 June 1879, during the third year of her family's confinement in Çırağan Palace. Her father was Murad V, son of Abdulmejid I and Şevkefza Kadın. She was named after Murad's favourite sister, Fatma Sultan, and after her maternal grandmother. [1]
