  3. Music, dance and drama make up the Performing Arts that all St. Aubyn’s pupils take part in from Nursery to Year 6. They experience lessons, co-curricular activities, visitors and educational visits related to the three performing arts. These experiences culminate in performances in assemblies, shows, concerts and other events.

  4. I am extremely honoured to be the Chair of Governors of St. Aubyn’s School. Back in the 1950’s I was actually a pupil at the School – a very different school for boys only, much smaller and with minimal facilities – and then, as an architect, I reconnected with the School some years ago by becoming involved in the development of some of the new facilities.

  5. 12. Mai 2024 · St. Aubyn’s requires an enthusiastic graduate who is able to offer games coaching in a variety of sports, especially netball, gymnastics and hockey. This one-year post offers an opportunity to gain extensive and worthwhile working experience in a friendly independent school, supporting the PE and Games departments and being involved in the provision of sport throughout the School.

  6. Destinations and Awards. Pupils move on to a range of schools beyond St. Aubyn’s, including local and more distant HMC (public) schools, grammar schools and other schools. Pupils are well prepared for entry and, where appropriate, for scholarships to all these schools at 11+ and regularly gain a range of academic scholarships and other awards.

  7. Aubyn’s is an ISI School. ISI is approved for the purpose of inspection under Section 109 of the Education and Skills Act 2008 and reports to the Department for Education on the extent to which schools meet statutory requirements.
