As well as in school there are lots of external organisations and support groups who can take action to help you or provide advice and guidance. Sometimes it can seem that there is too much information! Don't worry - don't forget you can always ask someone at school to point you in the right direction.
We would encourage all parents/carers to discuss any issues or concerns they have with their child's current secondary school, before considering a transfer to The Blue School. This is particularly important at Key Stage 4, years 10 and 11, where GCSE option choices/syllabuses may not be able to continue as in the previous secondary school.
The Blue School's Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCo) is Mrs Hazel Price. If you are a parent/carer and have concerns about your child's learning and enjoyment of school around known or potential SEND, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Price.
