Der zweite Spielfilm von William Wesley, der dem geneigten Horrorpublikum 1988 „Scarecrows“ (hierzulande als „Paratroopers“ bekannt) bescherte, ist nämlich leider nur die Hälfte eines guten Films, und dummerweise ist die gute Hälfte noch dazu die erste, in der’s nicht wirklich um die titelgebende „Route 666“ geht.
